I love words. I use many words to express myself, even when much fewer words would suffice. Given this I was completely stumped when one of my friends asked me to describe God in one word. An impossible task! No one can possibly pack the many attributes of God into one word…..but if I were to make some feeble attempt at doing this then I would choose the word life-giver. Not merely life-saver or life-enhancer, but the giver of life itself. |

Believing in God was easy for me. He spared my life twice. The first time was before I was born. Doctors told my parents that I was just a cyst in the womb that needed to be removed. My parents were on their way to operation room when they felt the need to turn around and seek a second opinion from another specialist. It turned out that mum was pregnant with me... |

I see a lot of insecurity in this world, both in myself and in those around me: There is A who stresses out every time her boyfriend forgets to call and is plagued with the constant fear that he will one day leave her
There is B who spends every waking hour in the office, thinking that things will be okay once he has secured the top position in his firm... |

Breaching the taboo topic |

God is a taboo topic in our society today. It’s okay to ask your friends what they are studying, what their family is like, or perhaps even what their political stance is (for those few brave souls) But no one would dare ask someone what they thought about God. |
